You’re frustrated with green-washed labels and want real food for your family.
I hear you. It’s a struggle to find truly nutritious and delicious food that does not have preservatives, dyes, by-products, artificial oils, or other hidden ingredients. It’s so hard to find food grown and raised naturally and in the environment they were meant to live in.
But when you do find someone who can offer these foods, your kids’ or your own allergies, digestive issues, eczema, ADHD, and even some diseases are healed. Finally. And you just can’t get over how much better and healthier you feel. There’s no going back.
This is my story, and is also the story of many families we’ve connected with.
Hi there!
My name is Kristin and I am so excited to have you over. In our corner of the internet, we share our experiences and knowledge with others who are in search of truly good and healthy food. Our animals are raised on unsprayed pastures, under sunshine, and on grass, providing us with nutrient-rich and delicious food. I hope you find the information on this site helpful and informative for your own journey in eating real foods.
A bit about our family...
We didn't always live on a farm.
While Justin used to work on a ranch and has always told me that he'd like to have his own farm one day, I enjoyed the convenience of grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants. I shoved his farm idea deep in my back pocket thinking that it sounded more like a vacation—only for romanticizing, but not for everyday living.
For 13 years, we lived in apartments and suburban houses with our fenced backyard and neighbors and it wasn’t as satisfying as I expected.
In 2020, we both started craving freedom and space to raise our kids in, and connection and ownership towards our food source. After experiencing how fragile our food system was, we were determined to find a more stable and sustainable way to grow and raise our food, one that takes care of us, the animals, and the land.
On top of becoming sensitive to eating eggs and milk, I became curious about where our food came from, how it was raised, and how it was processed before it hit the shelves. Then it hit me. There was so much I didn’t know about our food.
I tasted raw milk for the first time during a Homesteaders of America conference. I never knew milk could taste so sweet and fresh. Best of all, I did not feel sick, and in fact felt really good, even after drinking a whole glass.
I did a deep dive on learning all I can about raw milk and wondered why I’ve never heard of this super nutritious food before. We began our search for our first milk cow after this and haven’t looked back since.
Three years in, we've grown so much closer to our food and have learned to appreciate the value of true nutrition. This is a life built on a daily relationship of real hands-on partnering with the animals, soil, and seasons. We are constantly humbled. I gotta say, if you want to experience life in one of its rawest forms, living on a farm is a good place to start. The lessons and rewards are hard-learned and hard-earned.
We are honored to be living alongside and raising our very own pastured chickens, pigs, sheep, and cows. To have this opportunity to be stewards of this beautiful land and life. To partner with nature and animals as we give back to each other and grow together.
Our most sincere hope is to pass on this appreciation and multiply these blessings we've been entrusted. Our dream is to share the rewards of this life of abundance with you.
It’s an honor to have you be part of our journey, friend. Reach out below for any questions or inquiries!
